Description:
‘New Sixth Form College for Luton’
GDM have been instructed by Luton Sixth Form College to undertake the design, feasibility and AIP bid for the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health services for the new 15,000m2 sixth form college.
The £30.0 million pound scheme is being developed by the architects KSS, works are due to start on site in August 2008 with completion sometime during 2010.
The existing sixth form college is to be demolished with a new low energy college built on the site. Through careful design co-ordination a ‘Termodeck’ system has been proposed due to its passive, low energy solution.
