John began his career at Ove Arup & Partners where he gained experience in all aspects of building services engineering for a number of buildings including the Lloyds Building in London, Wood Green Shopping City, extensions to Bristol University and new build headquarters for BOC in Windlesham, Surrey. From Ove Arups John joined Epping Forest District Council and was responsible for both capital and revenue projects throughout the district. From EFDC John joined Whitby Bird and Partners and where be became a partner. Whilst with WBP John worked on a number of low energy and sustainable buildings such as Hautlieu School in Jersey, Igus Factory in Cologne, the new British Embassy in Berlin, the new Stock Exchange in Berlin and the Said Business School in Oxford. John has also experience in theatre design and concert hall design being involved in the design of Ocean Music Venue in Hackney, Basingstoke Concert Hall and Derngate Theatre in Northampton. John is currently the lead director for a mixed use and transportation centre in Jersey and a large mixed use development in Manchester, and has recently been involved in the following projects: |
