Gary Draper

Gary Draper founded the practice with David Moseby in 1990.

Gary began his career as a marine engineering officer with the Royal Fleet Auxiliary where he gained experience in all mechanical, electrical and process systems.

After four years in the RFA Gary joined the Property Services Agency where he was responsible for the design and supervision for a number of major developments such as Wellington Barracks, major refurbishment for The British Museum, The Tower of London, Greenwich Navel College and a number of Government office buildings.

From the PSA Gary moved to FHP Partnership where he became involved initially as a senior project engineer and later a project manager responsible for a large number of commercial schemes and City Banks.

Gary is currently lead director for two new build IKEA stores, one in Dublin and one in Coventry and has recently been involved in the following projects:

  • New data centres for FDR in Hellaby Yorkshire and Basildon.
  • New build office development and major refurbishment in Maidstone for London and Cambridge Properties.
  • New build IKEA retail store in Cardiff along with major extensions to Croydon, Wembley & Nottingham.
  • Masterplanning of the FDR site in Basildon.
  • Data centre evaluation for Bank of New York.
  • Refurbishment of space within 1 Canada Square, Docklands for the
    Bank of New York.
  • Expert Witness for projects in Edinburgh and Cyprus.
